Flow charts

The MHRT has produced a number of flow charts that are intended to assist Members to work through the provisions applicable to decisions to be made under the Mental Health Act 2016 (MHA2016). They are a guide only and do not cover all considerations that may be relevant to the MHRT’s jurisdiction. For example, Members may need to consider the application of the Human Rights Act 2019 when making decisions.
